If life passes us by faster than we expect, is there a way to slow it down? We explore the art of making every minute count by following BASE jumper Simon Guthrie as he is walking out of his job and up a mountain in New Zealand.

While few of us have the skills or the guts to jump off the edge of a waterfall with a parachute, it’s good to occasionally stop and think what makes us feel truly alive and ensure that the life we live is really what we want.

We explore this serious matter in a light-hearted way in the latest installment of our adventure film series “Beyond the Action”, filmed against the stunning backdrop of Rob Roy glacier near Wanaka and featuring a suitably bad-ass G-Class.

Watch pro mountain bikers and best mates Kelly McGarry and Jeremy Lyttle have the downhill ride of their lives in the Himalayas from 18,380 feet. Best known for his breath-taking downhill footage escalating in a flip over a 72-foot-long canyon gap at Red Bull Rampage 2013, Kelly McGarry does not shy away from extremes. So with the M-Class we took him and fellow rider Jeremy Lyttle to the highest and most remote place they have ever been to: Khardung La – the supposedly highest vehicle-accessible mountain pass in the world at 18,380 feet (5,602 m) and let them have the downhill ride of their lives.

Jacob and Kyla first crossed paths while hitchhiking through Mexico and searching for climbing spots – not once, but twice. Today, they are married and still climbing. Follow them on their little roadtrip through the country they both love in a beautiful baby blue 70s Mercedes-Benz SL convertible. Leaving the hustle and bustle of Mexico City, they head to beautiful Taxco, nestled in the mountains where they discover a stunning and remote 600 foot deep, stalactite filled cave to test their climbing skills – “El Chonta”.

This short film is another episode in our Beyond the Action adventure series.
